Panic attack. The first 3 signs that you are having a panic attack.

Panic attack. The first 3 signs that you are having a panic attack.

For people who experience panic attacks, it is doubly difficult. First, they have to struggle with the problem itself. Second, they have to deal with the stigma that society hangs over them. The softest thing they can hear is: “OK, the cuckoo’s gone” ? The first 3 signs that you are having a panic attack.

? First and foremost, if you have panic attacks, there is nothing wrong with you! In 90% of cases, there is a trigger that triggers this nervous system response. What’s more, it’s a defense of sorts. Let’s take a deeper look.
?Signs of a panic attack: heart rate soars, blood pressure may rise, dizziness, difficulty breathing, feelings of unreasonable fear, and other individual signs.

?When this condition occurs: smell triggers, taste triggers, visual triggers are the most common. These situations activate some disturbing situation from life. Stresses unsettle the nervous system, and one becomes very susceptible to triggers. Triggers arise from basic fears (death, loneliness, confined spaces), the “do’s and don’ts” of childhood, anger at oneself and others. In addition to individual triggers, the client may absorb additional fears that were not inherent to him. A snowball effect occurs and there seems to be no way out.

Treatment: during the session we actively cooperate with the client and find the root cause, find out the triggers, which we then untwist on the body level. On average, panic attacks are worked through in 8-12 sessions (once a week).
The main ingredient for success is the client’s willingness to “dig deep” and deal with the root of the problem.
